Everest Base Camp Trek (Heli Out)

The Everest Base Camp Trek is the world’s most famous trek and it starts from Lukla after landing in the world’s most exciting airport. This trek leads you to the foot of the roof of the world, Mount Everest, which attracts the adventurous hearts of trekkers who wish to see Ama dablam, Lobuche, island peak and Mount Everest!

Mount Everest Base Camp has been a popular destination for trekkers since the very first expeditions to the Nepalese side of Everest in the 1953. To reach this part of the Himalaya within a limited time, we have devised this 12-14 day trek to Everest Base Camp. Along the trek, you will get to see Sherpa Villages, have spectacular views of might mountains and visit monasteries in the Khumbu region of Mount Everest.

Itinerary:

Day 01: - Pick up from airport and transfer to hotel, welcome tea and biscuits with briefings.

Day 02: - Kathmandu – Plane Flight to Lukla (45mins) and trek to Phakding (3 / 4h) 2640m.

Day 03: - Phakding – Namche Bazar (3 / 4h) 3440m.

Day 04: - Acclimatization day at Namche Bazzar or Khumjung visit day.

Day 05: - Namache – Tengboche (4 / 5h) 3860m.

Day 06: - Tengboche – Dingboche (4 / 5h) 4350m.

Day 07: - Dingboche – Lobuche (4 / 5h) 4910m.

Day 08: - Lobuche – Gorakshep (3 / 4h) 5170m and hike to Everest Base Camp in the afternoon after lunch

(2 / 3h) 5545m

Day 09: - Gorakshep – Ascent to Kalapathar 5545m early in the morning for the spectacular sun rise view on

the Mt. Everest and Khumbu Glacier.

Day 10: - Gorakshep – Pangboche (5/ 6h) 3860m.

Day 11: - Pangboche – Manju (5 / 6h) 2940m.

Day 12: - Manju – Lukla (2 / 3h) 2850m.

Day 13: - Lukla – Helicopter Flight to Kathmandu (45mins) 1350m and Transfer to Hotel.

Day 14: - Spare day in case of flight delay/ Rest or shopping day.

Day 15: - Spare day in case of flight delay / Rest or shopping day.

Day 16: - Departure from Kathmandu to your destination.
